What’s missing?

A place for different professional creative voices to actually come together.

To connect, share ideas about where music is going, and support one another as we navigate a landscape that never stops changing.

  • AI.
  • Live music.
  • Streaming.
  • Making a living.
  • Building an audience.
  • Social media.
  • New technology.

And all the opportunities and obstacles that come with building and sustaining a career in music today. So Happy Montana and Jay Bragg are creating an experiment called Nashville PACE, the Professional Artist & Creator Exchange.

The idea is simple. Get interesting people in the same room and see what happens.

Not a panel. A conversation.

PACE events are not designed around a stage full of experts telling everyone else what to think. We want different voices in the room. Artists and executives. Songwriters and technologists.

People excited about what is changing. People concerned about it. People still figuring out what they think.

  • Listen.
  • Ask questions.
  • Challenge an idea.
  • Change your mind.
  • Help someone else change theirs.

The exchange is the point.

The first conversation

Every conversation gets a number. Small roundtable. Real conversation. Limited attendance.

A community in the making.

PACE begins with gatherings, but the bigger idea is community.

A community where people know one another. Where artists find collaborators. Where experience gets shared instead of guarded. Where established voices and emerging ones can sit at the same table. Where someone with an idea can meet someone who knows how to help make it happen.

And where Nashville’s creative community can occasionally stop moving long enough to actually talk to itself.

Who it’s for

  • Artists
  • Songwriters
  • Musicians
  • Producers
  • Engineers
  • Creators
  • Managers
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Technologists
  • Designers
  • Publishers
  • Music industry professionals

And people doing interesting things that do not fit neatly into any of those boxes.

You do not need the right title. You should probably just be curious.

The founders

Happy Montana + Jay Bragg

PACE is the brand. The room is the star. Here is why they started it.

Nashville PACE was founded by Happy Montana and Jay Bragg of Jay Bragg Presents around a simple idea:

Nashville’s professional creative community needs more reasons to get into the same room.

Happy and Jay come from music, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community building.

Their role is to start the conversation. The community gets to help decide where it goes.
